Mexico-represented by Ana Silvia Barajas Garcia has earned one of the international awards that the global community to recognize EM delivery and strengthen the fight to end this disease.
Ana Silvia was nominated as a candidate for EMMEX, which is the federation of associations of MS in Mexico. EMMEX is a civil association that groups 26 patient organizations throughout the country, and that Ann is a spokesperson and responsible for social communication since August 2008.

It certainly is a joy that the qualities and history of my wife as my carer have excelled in between stories from other keepers, all with amazing profiles of great dedication and commitment in their work as caregivers.

The other international award that is given this Award 2011 is the James D. Wolfensohn, and he was indisputably won by Mr Allen O'Connor, Ireland, who has devoted his time to work on behalf of people with MS since 1993.

Allen was until a couple of months the president of the international executive committee of which I am part, and I had the pleasure of knowing him personally and marvel at his energy and commitment, so it gave me great pleasure to know that he was elected winner of this year.

And although I was not elected in the voting, I am proud that my wife's work is the subject of public recognition.

Both Ana Mariano as my dear son, now 8 years old and I was in his heart when he was a baby of 3 years, have given my color and nuances existence.
